About UASA Dagoretti

Uniting APBET schools in Dagoretti to uplift education, foster unity, and empower our community through quality learning.

Who We Are

UASA Dagoretti is a vibrant umbrella organization uniting APBET (Alternative Provision of Basic Education and Training) schools across the Dagoretti region. Our mission is to amplify the voice of community-based schools, enhance the quality of basic education, and champion equal opportunities for all learners regardless of background.

We work collaboratively with the Government of Kenya and key education stakeholders to align with national policies and ensure recognition, support, and sustainability for APBET institutions. Through dialogue, we advocate for the inclusion of our schools in education reform and resource allocation.

Professional development is a core pillar of our vision. We organize regular training workshops, peer learning sessions, and leadership forums to empower school heads, teachers, and support staff with the skills and mindset needed for transformative education.

At the heart of UASA Dagoretti is our commitment to the local community. Beyond academics, our schools serve as centers of hope, growth, and unity. We regularly participate in clean-ups, child welfare campaigns, health drives, and parental empowerment initiatives across Dagoretti.

As we grow, we embrace digital transformation and global partnerships to bring 21st-century opportunities to our learners. Our vision is to see APBET schools thrive as recognized, supported, and innovative spaces of learning—locally and beyond.
