Sifa Children Centre
Sifa Children Centre is a school dedicated to providing education and support to vulnerable children in Kawangware slums, Nairobi, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and build a better future.
Our History
Sifa Children Centre was established in 2001 as a Baby Care Centre with only 5 children. In 2004, recognizing the shortage of schools in the community, the Centre expanded into a primary school with lower classes. Over the years, it has grown to a population of 240 learners, offering education from Play Group to Grade 6. With 10 teaching staff and 2 non-teaching staff, the Centre has become a beacon of hope for children facing challenges due to poverty, lack of access to basic needs, and limited educational opportunities.
Mission
To develop children holistically through imparting positive values and knowledge to them.
Vision
To provide quality education that prepares learners to be useful members of the society.
